United Flooring Center began serving the Detroit Metropolitan area in 1964 when Howard Gronow opened a small flooring store at Nine Mile Road and Hoover. United continues today as a family-owned and operated business. For more than four decades, United has operated based on its founding principles of providing quality products and professional installation services at very competitive prices.
