United Flooring Center began serving the Detroit Metropolitan area in 1964 when Howard Gronow opened a small flooring store at Nine Mile Road and Hoover. United continues today as a family-owned and operated business. For more than four decades, United has operated based on its founding principles of providing quality products and professional installation services at very competitive prices. Because of United’s commitment to excellent products and services we have become one of southeast Michigan’s premier flooring contractors.
